She brings such a balance strong feminine & strong masculine energy to every class bringing attention to the breath, mind, spirit, and of course body. She has helped ground me and motivate me to push through, but also today really helped me accept where I was and listen to what my body was telling me and it opened up space for the most divine encounter. An encounter that was so powerful with my eyes closed, it’s changing my life when I have my eyes open and out in this crazy, chaotic, beautifully vibrant world we are all experiencing! She makes the effort to greet me each time, which I do appreciate. Her class consistently has a great balance of speed spins vs resistance, some choreo, some strength weight training, and caters to all levels of attendees, which not every trainer can do. alle beoordelingen weergevenWhen I got to the studio today, they told me it was my 100th class at Neon and they pointed to a billboard with my name on it. I was so touched and surprised. As a Classpasser, I didn’t think I was eligible for the achievement acknowledgments. I have taken cycle with Jenn for 95% of the classes I have attended. I have tried a few other instructors but Jenn is just THAT good. I love her format, how she builds the intensity and her music. Plus, she is beyond hilarious and her commentary(which can sometimes be risqué, but hey, I am a grownup) makes class fly by and keeps me highly entertained. She is so quick witted. I would love to attend Neon more often, but I live on the other side of Plano and evening classes are too difficult to get to therefore Neon is my weekend guilty pleasure. Thanks Neon, love you all!

alle beoordelingen weergevenGreat instructor, with a solid intermediate flow style. Favorite things: 1. She eases into the practice with a gentle warm-up and long cool down, 2. There is some free time to practice any poses you want, and 3. The transitions between poses are good and intuitive. Only thing I didn’t like (most teachers at Black Swan do this) are when the nicely paced initial flow sequences speed up into breath to movement fast paced flows—they are too fast for most of us to do the poses correctly.

Also, being on the extreme picky side, we work up into a very slight sweat. Which I like. When it’s time for shavasana, the air is turned on. Some might like that, but I get so cold because I’m slightly sweaty then the air is jarringly cold and loud. The actual flow and instruction are great. 5 stars.
