The studio itself is nice and I love the locker rooms too, as they have a great set up here to get ready after a yoga class if you need to shower (the essentials - towels, soap/shampoo/body wash dispensers in shower, lotion & blow dryer on wall).

At this point in my life, if I do not go to this class at least once a week, I am a ball of anxiety and stress. Katie knows exactly what to say, and when to say it while still giving us time to be inside our bodies. The music makes me feel like I’m in a fantasy movie. Her “pushies” / assistance with getting in pose is what I look forward to the most in this class. I finally feel like I’m starting to get my cheerleader flexibility back.

Usually when you see a “yoga sculpt” class it’s a boring vinyasa flow with some rinky dink weights but NO, this is yoga mixed with serious bodyweight calisthenics drills, tons of planking to build natural upper body and core strength, and so much glute work ouchhhhh…. Some small ankle and ring weights are used but it’s mostly to add on to your bodyweight. I am a 500-hr yoga teacher and teach megaformer and this has me wobbling on the way down the stairs. AMAZING CLASS if you want to see what your body can do and build strength for your other movement practices.

Definitely not pilates except for the ab section so I definitely think they need to rename this to something like “hot sculpt.” Also wish they had at least eight-pound weights for things like lunges! Regardless this instructor is super great at cueing and moving around, love her energy. I feel like this studio definitely took comments to heart and greatly improved the sound in the studio and the customer service at the front desk. I’m a big fan now, especially with the variety and number of classes they offer - super convenient especially with free validated parking!

As A PT and coach I want to congratulate a Molly for the great flow and chain exercise done on her first part of the class I really felt it every single muscle of my body and them a great 1/2 hour of yoga were her voice guidance took my mind to another part of the universe ending the practice in peace , happy and lots of love . alle beoordelingen weergevenThis class was exactly what I was looking for today, a mix of yoga and energetic meditation. The studio is nice and neat, and the room is moderately warm but not hot. It was a nice surprise for me that it was warm as it’s perfect for stretching, but maybe some people would like to know that in advance. The yin teaching style of Sean was completely different to any other yin class I’ve taken in the past. I like that he was very technical and straightforward; he’s not the type of teacher that will greet you or introduce himself, and he walks out of the room during Savasana. Indeed not the typical super friendly teacher but I actually like that because it allows you to be yourself and with yourself only without feeling any pressure. However, I can see some people perceiving it as dull. Just be aware of the style and you’ll enjoy the class as he is very knowledgeable. I loved the Japanese mantra component and reiki visualization exercises while holding the postures. Be aware that the teacher does not perform reiki on each student, it’s more of a visualization of reiki within yourself.
