It's usually not too busy (though I go in the afternoon, not sure what it looks like at 5:30 on a weekday), the staff and Bryan the manager are super friendly and inviting. Also, they are very relaxed with the "1-hour window" of open gym, so you don't need to feel rushed. Great experience.

alle beoordelingen weergevenTonight’s Hot Yin Yoga was wonderful! Temperature was a consistent 99 degrees throughout the class. The music playlist Anne selected was instrumental and ethereal, lending to a graceful and serene atmosphere as we got into each of our long poses. Anne does an excellent job of explaining the pose and provides variations for different levels, and then allows us to sink into each pose for 3-5 minutes while the music plays. I loved this practice tonight, and can’t wait to be back for another of Anne’s classes.

Instructor didn’t want open the door because of the sunlight being so bright. The lack of air circulating gave me a migraine. Additionally there’s a water spot again in the far right corner in the front on the ceiling, toxic mold accumulates with these water damages. The area needs to be simply wiped out and the panel needs to be replaced. it’s been like this for a long time. Said kindly, it is time to replace it.

I went to the sauna entrance on accident and it was a whole kerfuffle. The door that says Rooted Heart in huge letters right above it is for the sauna business and the yoga studio is an unmarked door to the right of that. Very confusing!

The hot 26 will keep you challenged and although the poses and instructions never change you’ll have a different experience every time you step up to the mat. The only thing this studio doesn’t have that I really love after a hot workout is a cold lavender towel. That would really just put this place over the top.

I arrived a bit late and still had to change, so they helped me find the restroom and even laid out my mat, blocks, bolster, and blanket for me so it’d be ready when I came back. The gong bath in the end was so peaceful and rejuvenating, which was exactly what I needed today. Lovely practice and highly recommend! As for location, I’d suggest using the stairs to the right of the FedEx entrance, then you’ll see a sign to turn left towards the studio🫶

Intimate class sizes allow for enough space to practice comfortably and opportunities for coaching and redirection. Class ends with a cool lavender towel and tea shared amongst the class! Such a nice touch and a lovely way to create community. As for Sam, truly my favorite instructor in Houston. His classes are challenging and often power-focused, but remain balanced and grounding. I adore his flows!
