What made the class for sure was the instructor, Annette. She was so sweet and welcoming right from the start. She came right over to me and made sure I was all set up with my bike and how to use the lever gears, etc., and she had fantastic instruction all throughout class.

Once we started doing boxing exercises (after warming up), the instructor pulled the newbies and showed us the basics (jab, cross, hook) and stances which was nice so we could at least get a foundation. Definitely a good start and will definitely continue showing up.

Coach John was substituting and he was very welcoming. Unfortunately, the 7p is more advanced, but he and the advanced ladies Mila, Michelle & Gwen were patient and kind teaching me basic fundamentals. They even allowed me to try the warm-up and some of Coach John’s moves of the day. Everyone was super welcoming, so I appreciated the impromptu intro to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I’ll be back for the 6p here at UFC CM or maybe try to the ladies gi at UFC HB. Good stuff!

alle beoordelingen weergevenI have been doing Muay Thai with Matador Training for a couple weeks now, and I have to say this has been such an incredible experience all around! I have never done any Muay thai, or martial arts before so was very nervous for my first time, especially because joining a new gym and being a beginner is super intimidating. But I have to say that all the coaches, the owners, and even the members made me feel so welcome, guided me in each class, and had so much energy!! I have taken classes with Coach ships, coach Gio, and Coach Rick, and they are all amazing, and extremely knowledgeable at what they do! They take the time to really teach you, and explain to you the fundamental of what you are doing, but push you so hard all at the same time! I have also taken one on one sessions with coach Gio, and I have learned and advanced immensely in such a short amount of time. I truly do recommend coming here if you are looking for a mixed martial arts gym. They have pro fighters, and advanced fighters who they train, but they still make sure to pay attention and guide those who are new and wanting to learn, and advance. Such great classes if you are also just wanting to get in amazing shape! Hands down 10 out of 10 experience with them!!

For instance, I’m recovering from a lower back injury so I currently prefer slow flow and the person next to me mentioned they were a seasoned yogi. The studio owner was also at class and was super friendly! The space was clean and it was comfortable too to do yoga on the mat. Can’t wait to come back

I felt bad as when I checked in the owner frustratedly stated they do not accept class pass, and in the same breath said he would let me join for today only. I was very grateful and then realized I had overlooked other reviews indicating as much. Would recommend this gym & intro BJJ class for sure. It was one of the most impactful workouts I have had in a while. I often practice yoga & inversions, skate, and walk/run though I was utterly not prepared for this style of fitness. HiiT combat would best describe it. Will return, though not via class pass. Hopefully CP can get it together and stop taking advantage of this small business!
