Heat it, hand it to a French instructor credentialed in Rishikesh and Varkala, conduct it in English, and stage it on the 5th floor of Kamppi Center, and you have something quietly improbable — contemporary wellness as cultural collage, with no single origin to be foreign from. Yoga Nordic earns the layering. I hadn’t done Ashtanga in a few years — but he made it feel like a puzzle, slowly building the building blocks into a deep and settled stillness I hadn’t felt in a while. It was also important and refreshing he took the class in Swedish. I highly recommend.
