The class felt very welcoming for a first timer and it definitely gives you a good workout. Surprisingly to me, you will feel the burn! I would say it’s for all levels but for beginners it’s good to know some basic movements (child’s pose, down ward dog, warrior)

I really appreciated the suggestions on how to improve as someone new to strength training. 5 stations with 2 rounds at each station made the class go by quickly. I'll be back for sure!

However, the instructor played party music from the 2000s/2010s, which I love, but it was hellllla distracting to get a vibe with the flow going. The apple-bottom jeans song came on, and memories of me dropping it low in a dark club at age 21 came rushing back. Which was weird because I’m much older and have some insecurities with how I look now. And just wasn’t expecting to deal with some low-key aging grief on a Tuesday in class. Perhaps the class could be advertised as a power ‘pop hits’ class. I probs would have gone to the earlier one!

The waiting area was very peaceful and serene. I could spend the days, relaxing , reading, journaling, coloring and sipping a variety of teas while I wait. Although my session was running behind; why complain when you can just relax a little bit longer. So very Zen! Highly recommended and I will be back!
