The technique was unique, she focused more on applying pressure to specific points rather than using a lot of movement, which really helped release tension. She paid extra attention to my hips, applying pressure there which might be where I hold most of my tension. However, I felt the timing was a bit tight. There’s only about 5 minutes to prepare before and after the session, and sometimes you need a little more time to unwind, fix your hair and get ready to leave without feeling rushed. While I know there’s a welcome area to relax, after a massage it’s nice to stay in a dark, quiet space for a bit longer. I’ll definitely go again, and I hope they schedule a bit more time between sessions.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the incredibly friendly lady at reception, which immediately set a positive tone. The atmosphere was just wonderful—calm, welcoming, and relaxing. I was initially worried about the temperature inside, because some places safe money on heating, but this place was perfectly warm, allowing my muscles to relax completely. And then there was the massage—absolutely amazing! The therapist, Marjoleike (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly—such a unique and lovely name!), had such a warm and positive energy. Tweede sessie werd er van de 50 min (voor €100) bijna 30 minuten lang verteld hoe ik mijn leven moest indelen gebaseerd op aannames. En tijdens de overige 20 minuten fysieke behandeling was ze vooral gefocust op praten ipv fysieke behandeling. Dit vond ik erg jammer want voelde me 1 nogal ongemakkelijk door aannames en 2 had het fysiek dit keer nul effect. Niet tijdens en niet na de sessie. Toen ik daarna contact zocht om te vertellen dat de tweede sessie niet aansloot bij wat ik nodig heb, maar de eerste sessie wel echt heel fijn was dus ik graag terug bleef komen als de focus op het fysieke kon liggen, toen heeft daphne mij eigenlijk een beetje gebonjourd als klant. ‘Dan geef ik geen advies meer en je kan ergens anders heen’ toen ik zei dat dat niet was wat ik aangaf toen stuurde ze me door naar een ademhalingscoach en had ze onze afspraak gecanceld zonder overleg. Ik had nav haar vragen al verteld dat ik een ademhalingscoach had.. en ademhaling was ook geen probleem. Dus voelde vooral als een excuses vanuit iemand die kritiek vooral heel persoonlijk opnam. Jammer dat je dus moet aansluiten op wat zij vind ipv aangeven wat jezelf nodig hebt.
